For 36 years, I built a career in the automotive industry centered on leadership, mentorship, and developing people. My greatest professional fulfillment came from teaching others how to build meaningful careers of their own, equipping employees with the skills, confidence, and mindset to succeed. Driven by passion, high standards, and a commitment to helping people win, I created a business world where individuals could flourish both personally and professionally. My decades in automotive helped shape my leadership style and gave me a deep appreciation for a strong work ethic, the power of coaching, the importance of trust, and the value of ongoing personal growth.

Today, I have brought that same energy and purpose to my role as a Partner with New York Life and NYLIFE Securities. Here I once again have the privilege of guiding talented individuals as they build successful careers in financial services while making a lasting difference in the lives of the clients and communities they serve. I am passionate about mentoring agents, developing leaders, and creating opportunities for others to grow into rewarding and impactful careers. At New York Life, I have found a mission that aligns with both my professional strengths and my personal values—empowering people to achieve their goals while helping build financial security for future generations.

Director of Agency Standards

kaharris02@newyorklife.com

With nearly 10 years of experience in the New York Life (NYL) world, Kira brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for relationship-building to her current role, which she has enjoyed for over two years. Before stepping into her current position, Kira worked as a Licensed Service Assistant (LSA) for a top-producing agent in Montana, where she managed incoming new business, client relationships, and new business platforms. This role gave her valuable insight into the NYL world from the agent’s perspective. Originally from Arizona, Kira moved to Montana in 2011 with her daughter, Aria, who is set to graduate high school this year and attend Montana State University in the fall. Outside of work, Kira and her boyfriend, along with their two dogs, enjoy spending time outdoors. They can often be found fly fishing on the rivers, camping, or hosting game nights with friends. Kira loves getting to know new people and embraces all that life has to offer.
